Status note: Pirate X Pirate closed after a March 9, 2022 exploit — a vulnerability in the $PXP/$GOLD conversion feature let an attacker mint and dump ~9.68M PXP; the team dismissed its developers, added a temporary withdrawal system, and attempted a Polygon relaunch that went silent. The game is recorded shut down; the piratexpirate.io domain has since been taken over by an unrelated gambling site (verified Oct 2026).
