The registry's only crowdfunded-collapse case: 70+ staff, two years of development, Kickstarter 400%+ funded — paused Aug 2022 when crypto-market funding dried up; EA launch cancelled a month out and Kickstarter backers told there was no money left for refunds (pre-orders were refunded). Never relaunched. Honest paused: the official wording is 'on hold' not closed, but four years of silence makes it the weakest paused tier.
