ZED RUN is a sports blockchain game on Polygon by Virtually Human Studio (VHS), first playable 2019. It runs on browser; requires purchase; a wallet is only required to own assets. In-game economy: playable assets NFTs; asset types: racehorse NFTs (ZED RUN legacy — remain in wallets but do not carry into Champions), $ZED/reZED, ZED Champions horses (new); earn; tradable on https://opensea.io/collection/zed-run.

| Access | Historically required buying a horse NFT (~$200+ typical) plus race entry fees; Champions platform live only for reZED→$ZED conversion and withdrawals during the Clutch transition |
Double pivot: the 2019 Ethereum-gaming pioneer paused racing 2024-08, sunsetted 2025-02-28 into ZED Champions on Base (legacy horses excluded — a controversial break), then Champions itself ended with Season 7 on 2026-05-24; the ZED IP is being rebuilt as a casino-native experience inside partner Clutch.
Status note: ZED RUN → ZED Champions (Feb 2025) → Champions closed May 24 2026 → IP moving to Clutch casino-native racing; platform stays up for withdrawals.
