Grand-strategy medieval MMO — 7+ years in development, ~$15M raised, reached Steam March 31, 2026; closed roughly four months later when MetaKing pivoted to an AI creative tool. The game had already consolidated Base/Polygon/Immutable assets onto its own LORDCHAIN in mid-2025 (legacy-chain support dropped after the migration window).
Status note: Closure announced August 6, 2026 — 'BLOCKLORDS is now BLOCKLORE… We are closing the game.' The studio pivoted to an AI-generation canvas; an LRDS loyalty airdrop bridges token holders into the new ecosystem. Mechanism: pivot-to-AI-tooling after a full Steam launch — explicit game closure, not a quiet uncommitment. Heroes were LORDCHAIN-bound at the end; no wind-down or refund program was detailed.
