Heroes of Mavia is a free Clash-style mobile base-builder — download it, build a base, raid other players. The blockchain part (land, heroes, statues as NFTs on Base) is entirely optional and invisible until you choose to own something.

What Heroes of Mavia is#

A free-to-play base-building strategy game from Skrice on iOS and Android — build defenses, train troops, raid for resources, join alliances. It’s a real live-service game: the client ships roughly every 20 days (v3.2.7 landed late August 2026) with alliance wars, legendary items and new modes in the pipeline.

Requirements#

  • An iOS or Android device — free on the App Store and Google Play.
  • No wallet, no purchase, no crypto knowledge. The Web3 layer only matters if you later decide to own land or heroes as NFTs.

The start#

  1. Install Heroes of Mavia from your app store — free.
  2. Play the tutorial: place buildings, learn the raid loop, join an alliance early (it’s where the game lives).
  3. Push the daily loop — raids, upgrades, alliance wars — all earnable, none of it gated behind payment.
  4. Optional, only if you want ownership: the game’s Ruby Marketplace and NFT flows for land, heroes and statues live inside the app.

What the NFT layer adds#

  • Land, Hero and Statue NFTs — ownable assets on Base (Ethereum L2); land is the premium piece (it underpins a base’s earning layer), heroes and statues are the cosmetic/power-adjacent tier.
  • MAVIA and RUBY — the game’s two tokens, used in the NFT/economy layer; you don’t need either to play the base-builder.
  • The Mavia marketplace + in-game Ruby Marketplace — where owned assets trade; a wallet only enters the picture here.

Safety notes#

The clean separation is the honest story: the game is free and complete without NFTs, so treat any land/hero purchase as buying into the game’s economy — prices move with the player base, not with promises. Install only from the official App Store / Google Play listing (com.skrice.mavia), and if you ever bridge to Base for the marketplace, do it inside the official Mavia flows — “MAVIA airdrop” clones exist.
