Common Ground World is the current continuation of Town Star — rebranded 2024 under the Common Ground partnership (regenerative agriculture framing); same game lineage, not a separate title. Legacy competitive modes (leaderboards, sandbox) remain accessible via the Town Star listing. Original TOWN token discontinued Jan 2023 (holders swapped to GALA at 2:1); rewards now run on $GALA and $SOIL. GalaChain is a permissioned Hyperledger-Fabric L1 operated by Gala under founder-node PoA — assets are account-custodied via the Gala account, not self-custody wallets.
